An Indiana Main Street Community
The Union City Downtown Revitalization Group is committed to creating a vibrant, successful downtown area.
The Group sponsors quarterly events in the downtown area, assist in development and planning for downtown projects and has recently been accepted into the Indiana Main St. program, a program that assists communites with the redevelopment of downtown business areas.

Downtown Streetscape Project
The Downtown Revitalization Committee has partmnered with the City of Union City to plan and execute a Downtown Streetscaping Project. The plan design was based on a community survey of wants and needs for the area. Below is a conceptual drawing of the plan. A grant has been applied for and construdtion should begin in spring 2010.
