The Union City Ohio Police Department has 5 full time officers with 2 part time officers.
Chief Harold Schafer
Chief of Police, Harold Schafer, is a veteran of the force since 1982. He was appointed to Assistant Chief in 1991 and to Chief of Police in June 1993.
Chief Schafer enjoys working in this village, and because of his long service to the community, is familiar with nearly everyone in the Village.
