Residential and Commercial Building Permits

Union City Ohio contracts with Darke County for the provision of building permits for both residential and commercial construction. The Darke County Building Regulations Office can be contacted at 547-7379 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Office of Building Regulations provide structural, HVAC, and electrical permits.

Zoning Permits

Union City, Ohio administers the zoning regulations for the corporate limits of Union City, Ohio. The Zoning Administrator may be reached Monday-Friday form 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 937-968-4305 (9) applications for zoning permits may be mailed to 419 East Elm Street with a check or money order for the amount dictated by the current fee_schedule.
