The Union City Preservation Society Museum (The Old Hotel Museum) is located at 103 N. Columbia St. in Union City, Indiana. The museum is part of a restored hotel building that is located next to the railroad where passengers could easily access the hotel from the train station. The museum contains a variety of artifacts from Union City's past, as well as Railroad memorabilia and items from Union City's military personnel. The museum is open to the public Monday through Saturday 1:00pm to 5:00 pm. |

The Winchester Speedway is a stop on the ARCA tour and has hosted numerous USAC, midget, sprint and USAC Silver Crown events that were televised on ESPN since the 1980s. |

The historic Winchester Speedway , located about 12 miles west of Union City on Indiana Highway 32, is a half-mile mile long paved oval motor racetrack located in Winchester, IN, a short drive from Union City. It seats 4000 spectators and is known as the "World's Fastest 1/2 mile". The track's 37 degree banking is one of the steepest in motor sports.
The Great Darke County Fair opens the third Friday in August. This annual 9-day event is considered by many to be the largest agricultural fair in the state of Ohio.
