Roads
Union City is served from the west by Indiana Highway 32 which connects to US Highway 27 (Runs North/South) about 8 miles west of Union City at Winchester.
From the South, Union City is served by Indiana Route 227 which connects to Interstate 70 about 25 miles south of the city.
From the Southeast, Union City is served by Ohio Route 571 which goes to the County seat of Darke County - Greenville Ohio. From Greenville, you can travel southeast on Ohio Route 49 to I70 just west of the Dayton International Airport in Englewood.
From the East, the city is served by Ohio Route 47 which connects to Interstate 75 at Sidney, Ohio.
From the North, Union City is served by Ohio Route 49 which connects to Ohio 47 a few miles east of Union City.
From the Northwest, Union City is served by Indiana Route 28 which connects to US 27 at Deerfield, Indiana.
Rails
Freight Rail Service

The CSX Transportation, Inc. main line that runs from St. Louis to the east coast passes through the heart of Union City.

- I75 runs north/south from Michigan to Florida and is located about 40 minutes east of Union City.
- I70 runs east/west across the nation and is located about 25 minutes south of Union City at Richmond, IN.
- I69 runs North/South from Indianapolis to Ft. Wayne IN, Lansing MI, Flint MI, and beyond.
