Frank Miller Lumber Company, Inc. (FML) is a 100-year-old hardwood lumber manufacturer that has experienced continuous expansion and constant improvement of quality over the years.

Situated on 20 acres in the state line community of Union City, Indiana, the company has remained in the same location and in the same family ownership for all of its 100 years.

FML specializes in quartersawn hardwoods, specifically white oak, red oak, walnut, ash, cherry, hard maple, sycamore and hickory.

FML employs just under 200 people and utilizes two shifts in production to accommodate lumber orders.

The company was founded in 1903 by John Miller. Today, John Miller's great grandchildren have added their talents to a team of dedicated professionals who continue to explore new ways to improve the quality of service FML provides its customers.

FML is a member of the National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA), Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen's Association (IHLA), Kentucky Forest Industries Association (KFIA), Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA), Wood Products Manufacturers Association (WPMA), American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA).

FML takes an active role in community projects throughout Union City and Randolph County. For several years running, FML, through its employee contributions, has lead in giving toward the local United Way campaign. FML has also made significant contributions to the Randolph County YMCA in both participation and monetarily. FML employees rallied to win the Y's Corporate Challenge for two years straight.
