Plant Location

j The plant will be located near Harrisville, just a few miles east of Union City in Randolph County, Indiana. The site is at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 32 and 600 E. The plant site has a CSX railroad mainline running parallel to it, making it very appealing. The site also contains adequate access to natural gas.

Ethanol Production Capacity

The plant will be natural gas fired and designed to produce 100 million gallons of ethanol each year. The ethanol will be marketed across the U.S. as a clean-burning, high-octane transportation fuel additive.

Corn Usage

The plant, as designed, will create demand for 36,000,000 bushels of corn each year. Most of the corn demanded should be originated from the local area, however, some may have to be railed in for processing.

Distillers Grains

Approximately 340,000 tons of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) will be produced annually, which will be marketed to livestock and poultry producers as a value-added nutritional supplement. DDGS is a co-product of ethanol production.

Employees

The plant will be staffed by approximately 45 full-time employees with an annual payroll of approximately $2.4 million. Open employment positions will be posted on the web site as they become available.
