Work Ethic Certification Program

Randolph Eastern Cheerleaders Image Union City Community High School is the first school in Randolph County to participate in the Work Ethic Certification Program, sponsored by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Juniors and seniors are eligible for the program, which monitors student attendance, attitude, community service and grades. Skills needed in these areas demonstrate commitment, teamwork, discipline and responsibility traits that employers seek in potential employees.

Students who complete the Work Ethic Certification Program process can present the certificate to potential employers, who can be assured that the student holds the basic characteristics required to perform the job.
